But Crandon Golf of Key Biscayne has a unique location in Crandon Park right by the Village of Key Biscayne. And just 10 mins. away from Downtown Miami.
It has been described as ” a long, difficult golf course”. From the back tees, it plays 7,354 yards with a rating of 76.5 and a slope of 151. Even from the whites, it plays 6,425 yards with a rating of 72.1 and a slope of 138.
Crandon Golf is part of the land donated by The Matheson Family in 1940. The land was donated to Dade County with the condition it would remain as a public park.
The construction of the golf course began in Crandon Park in 1970, and the Key Biscayne Golf Course opened in September, 1972.
The Key Biscayne Golf Course was designed by Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin and built by the Troup Brothers as a 18 hole, par 71, 7,020 yard course.
In 1993, it was renovated by Robert Von Hagge himself after the devastating Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

The Links of Key Biscayne
Nice clubhouse area with tropical landscape & views towards the golf course and Biscayne Bay. The Links is a fabulous venue you can rent and host a corporate event, a wedding party or any celebration.
It is located very near the practice area with chipping and putting and some irons. A net protects the hitting area and keeps balls from going into one of the front 9 fairways.
