It is Sunday, are you ready for exercising? It is time to change your routine and try Crandon park trail. Whether you are a Key Biscayne resident or you are commuting from the city, it is worth it.
I particularly like the early mornings or late afternoon but you can go at any time, it is located at the end of Key Biscayne near the Cape Florida Light House. As a resident just grab your bicycle, roller-blades or simply walk or jog. As a tourist you can either bring your roller-blades with you, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental stores, walk or jog. Now if you are coming from the city, drive up to Crandon Park and chose your best way to exercise.
If you need a real stress relief you must try it , the trail takes you into a path between mangroves , trees and views that literally connects you with nature and let’s your body and mind relieve all of the nonsense that we build up with our daily routines of worries of how we need to make money, close a deal, take care of the kids, daily household boredom tasks, a husband that doesn’t listen to you or a wife that never stop nagging, demanding social life and everything else that comes with daily life.
I taught my kids that the best stress reliever is to connect with nature, this trail is one of the medicines we rush to. My daughter and I would rollerblade while my son would jog. They both are gone to college now, but the first thing they do when they come is to go straight to the trails. A good habit is taught, simple choices are always the most enjoyed and having the good fortune to live in this island is a privilege and blessing.
Now if you are visiting, and want some semi-tropical experience and get in contact with a mixture of vegetation between mangrove, pine trees, and palm trees etc. Rent your bicycle and go head you will greatly enjoy it!
